Advancing Diagnosis and Optimizing Treatment in Immunodeficiency Diseases: A Translational Journey

Since 2020, the Grifols ASPIRE Award has fostered translational research bridging fundamental science and clinical practice across primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, supporting innovative projects from young outstanding investigators worldwide.

This symposium brings together the first 3 ASPIRE Award recipients, whose research spans the translational continuum—from improving global access to diagnostic approaches, to elucidating molecular mechanisms, and optimizing immunoglobulin replacement therapy. Collectively, their work highlights how translational insights can inform clinical decision-making and contribute to advancing diagnosis and treatment strategies across primary and secondary immunodeficiencies.
